Careers in Cultural Sustainability Webinar

Monday, May 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM

Our alumnae/i find multiple ways to craft their professional journeys beyond graduate school. Join us for an online conversation with four MACS graduates: a social entrepreneur, a PhD candidate, an artist, and a non-profit leader. Each will talk briefly about their career paths and how the MACS program prepared them. There will also be time for questions and casual conversation.

Meet the alumnae/i joining us:

  • Candace Chance ’12: Speaker, Coach, Impact Strategist, CEO BeBold (Bringing Out Leaders from Dreamers), Baltimore, Maryland
  • Dalen C. Butler ’15; PhD Student, Anthropology-History Program, University of Michigan
  • Karen "Queen Nur" Abdul-Malik ’12; Director of the Folklife Center at Perkins Center for the Arts in New Jersey, as well as a Self-Employed Storyteller and Teaching Artist
  • Terri Van Orman ’14; Executive Director of Folklore Village, Dodgeville, Wisconsin
