Ramona Baker, M.A. in Arts Administration program director, and Tony Montenieri ’18 will discuss how arts organizations employ the arts as a tool for social justice initiatives and reform.

The session will also include a Q&A about the basics of applying, scholarship qualifications, and other important information.

Meet the hosts:

Ramona Baker
M.A.A.A. Program Director

Consultant, facilitator, and speaker with over 25 years experience as CEO of nonprofit/cultural organizations; currently works with nonprofit organizations around the country. Former executive director, Arts Council of Indianapolis; currently member of board and executive committee of Americans for the Arts; former board member of National Association of Local Arts Agencies, Nonprofit Advisory Board, and U.S. Urban Arts Federation; former executive director, Arts Council of Huntsville, Alabama; former managing director, Enterplay Theatre, New York; former director of audience development, Back Alley Theatre, Washington, DC. Has produced arts festivals, managed theatre companies, presented workshops, published arts research, supervised capital construction, and served as evaluator and panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts.


Tony Montenieri ’18

Tony Montenieri has worked with Eve Ensler and V-Day, the global grassroots movement to end violence against women and girls for 15 years. He has served in various roles for both Ms. Ensler and V-Day and currently is the director of her production company, Lotus Productions, while also serving as V-Day’s acting campaigns director. In his tenure with Ms. Ensler he has worked both on and off-Broadway, including Emotional Creature, The Secret Life of Girls Around the World (associate producer) at the Signature Theater, In the Body of the World (producer for Eve Ensler) at Manhattan Theatre Club, and most recently Fruit Trilogy (producer) with Abigdon Theatre.
