25th Anniversary Webinar Series: Collaborating with Communities for Successful Historic Preservation

Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

In a rapidly changing world, it is vital we seek new strategies to reach our goals of equity and justice in historic preservation work. Speaker Dr. David Rotenstein, who teaches the Goucher M.A.H.P. seminar Ethnography and Community Engagement for Historic Preservation, will take participants on a virtual visit to some of the communities students experience during his course. Like his students, you'll be exposed to some of the tools that ethnographers and planners use to identify, evaluate, and treat historic places in collaboration with the people who live, work, and play in them.

This webinar is part of the 2020-2021 series hosted by Goucher College M.A.H.P. to celebrate a quarter century of being a pioneer in the field of historic preservation education. If you have questions about the webinar, please feel free to contact Lexi Rudolph at lexi.rudolph@goucher.edu.
