Integrated Climate Change Education

Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

As an educator, you are already inundated with curricular demands making it difficult to find the time to teach about climate change, which is already controversial. You should not feel scared to teach facts and you should not let time constraints prevent you from teaching about the most pressing problem facing the current generation. Integrated climate change education allows you to blend climate change education into topics you are already teaching. Join Professor Zachary Krauss during this free webinar to learn more about this topic.

Zachary is the Director of Research to Operations Communications for the Alabama Water Institute at The University of Alabama. Zach’s role is to be the lead communicator for the cutting edge water research conducted by the scientists at the Institute. Zach is also Chief Meteorlogist & Owner of SWCT/NY Weather LLC, a hyperlocal weather forecasting consultancy based in New York’s Hudson Valley. Zach assists local officials in weather-based operations decisions. Zach also previously worked for the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Environmental Protection Bureau and worked with an NGO to plan United Nations sustainability conferences. Zach earned his Master’s of Science in Environmental Earth Systems Management from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and previously earned his Bachelor’s in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University with minors in Climate Change & Applied Economics.
